Description We are on the search for a dedicated Staff Accountant to become an integral part of our team. Based in Houston, Texas, this role will involve various responsibilities within the accounting domain, specifically focusing on areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger maintenance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our accounting operations. Responsibilities: • Handling all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and ensuring timely and accurate processing • Overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensuring all receivables are accounted for properly • Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately • Maintaining the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date • Preparing Journal Entries as part of the month-end close process • Utilizing Sage Intacct for various accounting functions and tasks • Participating in the month-end close process, ensuring all accounting tasks are completed within specified timelines.
