Job Description A partner of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join their team. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in the finance department, focusing on sales tax compliance and cost accounting. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can manage sales tax filings, analyze cost data, and support overall financial reporting and compliance efforts. The Staff Accountant is going to be heavily involved in revenue recognition including billing. They will help support month end closing, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and audit support. This role is a contract role with opportunity for extensions. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.  Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on sales tax and cost accounting.  Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Oracle Fusion) and Microsoft Excel.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
