As an Accountant, you will perform accounting functions and procedures essential to the success of the firm for assigned properties. This position works closely with the Director of Accounting, Senior Accountants, Field Staff and the Troon team. Previous accounting experience is a requirement for the position.

Key Responsibilities:
Process daily files from banks and ensure proper recording of bank activity. Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger. Responsible for the daily & monthly reconciliation of multiple Company bank accounts. Includes analyzing and resolving discrepancies between company records and bank records by following up on incorrect items and escalating any exceptions as necessary. Perform other month end close related duties as assigned and assist in the implementation of process improvements. Follow up on overdue accounts and assist in collections when necessary. Provide support to A/P & A/R as needed. Provides support to Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A related to various domestic and international accounting projects as needed.Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy. Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate’s degree with an equivalent combination of education and experience. A degree in accounting is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; moderate to strong Excel skills preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills a must. Familiarity with Dynamics 365 or a comparable ERP system a plus.
