Description Robert Half Finance and Accounting Contract divisions seeking a Staff Accountant for a growing Bookkeeping firm in Sparks, Nevada. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with providing comprehensive financial support within our team, including managing and reviewing financial records, assisting with tax preparation and filing, and participating in regular audits. You will also lend your expertise to support budgeting and forecasting processes. Responsibilities: • Manage and review the accuracy of financial records • Provide comprehensive support for client projects as required • Play a crucial role in the preparation and filing of taxes • Engage in regular audits to ensure adherence to legal regulations • Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting processes • Perform any additional duties or responsibilities as required • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations • Maintain and update the General Ledger • Prepare and review Journal Entries • Oversee the Month End Close process • Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.
