Responsible for end-to-end process and analysis and preparing accounting/tax and reporting activities. Delivers timely and accurate finance and accounting services in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and consideration of proper SOX controls. Collaborates with corporate office functions and divisional accounting/ analysis/tax activities. Performs compilation, posting and review of assigned month-end journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.This position has been segmented as hybrid meaning the work is a combination of onsite and remote work.
This position has been segmented as Hybrid meaning there is a combination of three onsite days per week and the rest remote.
Responsibilities:
Prepare month-end journal entries and complete general ledger account analysis.
Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules (profit & loss, balance sheet).
Preparation of 10K and 10Q and earnings release tie outs.
Preparation of internal reporting materials provided to executive leadership.
Compile and provide audit support as requested by internal and external auditors.
Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations. Assist manager with the account reconciliation system (Blackline) administration support.
Support SOX compliance processes.
Maintain journal entry closing checklist and ensure required documentation exists to support all journal entries, calculations and account reconciliations.
Assist manager with the PeopleSoft super user role for the general ledger system.
Assist with projects, research and system related tasks as assigned.
Develop end-to-end process and business knowledge of assigned area

Responsible for moderately complex accounting activities related to maintenance of complete and accurate general ledger, reports, and financial statements.
Respond to moderately complex questions within existing policies and procedures, exercising some independent judgement.

Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related analytical field required (or related experience)
MA/MBA preferred
Job relevant certifications preferred (e.g. CPA)
Related Experience/Requirements:
2 years of relevant work experience required (in role or similar role)
Intermediate skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Universal Pay Verbiage:
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $50,000 and $80,000 per year.
This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus opportunities.
