Description We are seeking a staff accountant to join its growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, handling general ledger reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Pay range: $34 - $41 per hour, depending on experience Key Responsibilities + Assist with general ledger reconciliations and journal entries. + Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. + Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements. + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. + Assist with bank reconciliations, accruals, and fixed asset tracking. + Work closely with auditors by providing documentation and support during audits. + Maintain compliance with GAAP standards and internal accounting policies. Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. + 2+ years of staff accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting. + Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and accounting software (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar). + Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
