Position Purpose:
Seeking world-class talent to join the world’s leading distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts and value-added services operating 5,500+ locations and servicing more than 20,000 locations in the U.S and Canada. The Staff Analyst, Digital Analytics, will lead significant analytics projects and initiatives that will directly impact our omnichannel business performance, and drive the overall data and analytics maturity in the organization. This role will work closely with stakeholders in Digital Operations, Product and Engineering, to help define the problem (often ambiguous), evaluate different analytical approaches, identify data and facts needed, recommend a solution and own the execution. The Staff analyst will serve as an analytics SME, consultant and advisor to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role will guide and mentor junior analysts and contribute to the overall development of the team.
The individual contributor will be part of a fast-paced team and environment, that is leading the digital transformation for a 100+ year old brand in the Automotive Retail space. He/She will possess an analytical, consultative, and strategic mindset, with preferable experience in an omni-channel retail environment, working with several cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
Lead initiatives to capture, review and analyze web analytics, site usage, performance, customer behavior and related metrics, combining both online and offline data.Partner with various digital channel leads to analyze and recommend opportunities for improvement in digital business KPIs.Own reporting and insights development, ongoing analysis to in support of regular strategic and business reviews.Foster relationships among internal and external teams to better understand business needs and provide strategic thought partnership to cross functional groups.Leverage reporting and insights to creatively uncover test and learn opportunities and drive their execution.Partner with Product and Operations to develop and execute AB testing roadmap and mature the overall experimentation process.Contribute to digital data strategy, tagging and QA processCreate and maintain status updates with internal and external stakeholders; ensure project completeness and pacing. Communicate updates cross-team on a regular cadence.Other duties as assignedLocation:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, economics or quantitative discipline.8+ years’ experience in online/ecommerce/ product analytics.Hands on experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, and/or Google Analytics.Experience with A/B testing, using tools such as Adobe Test/Target, Optimizely, etc.Fluency in SQL, Python, or scripting languages to drive analysis with large data sets from GBQ, Snowflake, etc.Knowledge of statistics, experience of using statistical methods to analyze data.Broad knowledge of digital analytics ecosystem across data, tooling and reporting solutions.Strong communication skills needed, with ability to work cross functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.Strong demonstration of development and communication of senior management level presentations.Strong initiative and self-starting approach with a sense of urgency, and accountability to deliver results.Not the right fit?
