This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change. 

Your Responsibilities

 

As a STAFF ARCHITECT - Networks for JD Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will advance the development of the next generation of In-Vehicle Networks (IVN), concentrating on core communication technologies including automotive ethernet, time-sensitive networking, high-speed links, and forward-looking wireless technologies like 6G etc.

What Skills You Need

 

 

7+ years of working experience in L0-L7 Ethernet, encompassing both unframed and protocol-based traffic. 7+ years of experience with automotive communication technologies such as AVB, Ethernet and IPC mechanisms with binder, vSomeIP, DDS etc. Advanced Expertise in networking technologies such as TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, VPN, L2 switching, EVPN, VLAN, Segment Routing, and MPLS. Working knowledge of Ethernet network components switches, routers, repeaters and gateways Experience in implementing cryptographic algorithms in embedded systems for encryption and authentication. 7+ years of experience in programming languages like C/C++, and Python. What Makes You Stand Out

 

Expertise in embedded software development and system/software architecture on Linux/Android or real time platforms, ideally within multi-OS hypervisor-based systems. Knowledge of system architectures and requirements for Automotive Ethernet PHYs The ability to communicate effectively, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences. Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with equivalent experience
