Staff Assistant

Summary: Goldbelt C6 is seeking a Staff Assistant to provide various administrative services within the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR) necessary to meet the Bureau of Energy Resources mission requirements. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Implement best practices for the efficient review and processing of Front Office paperwork and assist in identifying gaps and maintaining quality control. Work in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment and provide support and assistance to other team members as necessary. Prioritize and task all incoming papers and projects, with minimal supervision and communication information as soon as feasible after receipt. Maintain and update various tracking files. Request Bureau’s clearance of memoranda for Senior State Department officials and troubleshoot specific concerns. Other administrative duties as needed to support ENR operations. Qualifications Necessary Skills & Knowledge: Highly proficient with Microsoft Office’s Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and MS Project experience. Ability to work both independently and with others. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Work under tight deadlines. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and oral). Familiarity with ISO requirements, standards and processes. Civilian or Defense agency experience providing administrative support to Senior Executive positions is highly desired. Required Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or related experience. Availability to Travel. Security clearance eligible. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. At least five (5) years of executive level office management experience, or equivalent experience. Current security clearance.
