Generac Clean Energy Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Staff Automation Data Engineer to help with data visualization of next-generation renewable energy products and IoT device reliability testing. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing data visualization of reliability testing for electrical systems and components. You will contribute to the reliability assurance and performance optimization of Clean Energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** + Drive and automate field monitoring efforts by accessing and processing system- and device-level data from platform databases, presenting it in a meaningful way. + Utilize Object Oriented Programing for test automation, data analysis, and equipment control. + Identify and report on trends in reliability testing data performance and device capability/reliability, capturing larger device behaviors related to health and performance. + Develop cloud data platform for testing data and provide recommendations for improvement. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications for new products or product enhancements. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to automation of test system data. **Minimum Qualifications:** + BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field. + 10+ years of experience in related experience. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Understanding or history of working with power electronics/IoT devices and control systems + Familiarity with Renewable Energy/Solar/Energy market + Experience with tools and approaches for machine learning, deep learning, and/or natural language processing + Experience with AWS, Clickhouse and MQTT protocol. + Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes; Git, Jenkins, Maven, CircleCI. + Familiarity with graphical data visualization for cloud based test data management (Grafana). + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. + Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. + Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present test results and recommendations. **Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
