The Work

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Staff Electronics Engineer to join our Test Program Set (TPS) Development team in Fort Worth.

As a key member of our team, you will:

• Be responsible for designing, developing, and testing TPS hardware and software for F-16 advanced electronic systems, ensuring their reliability, accuracy, and performance.
• Lead the design, development, and testing of TPS hardware and software for electronic systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and software developers.
• Develop and maintain TPS documentation, including hardware and software requirements, design specifications, and test plans in accordance with Lockheed Martin standards.
• Implement and verify hardware and software solutions to meet customer requirements and ensure system performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies in TPS development and electronic systems.

This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in an engineering discipline
- 7 or more years of test experience
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, LabVIEW, TestStand, and ATLAS
- Experience with modular test stations (some examples could include LM-STAR or LM-CORE or other modular test stations)
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of TPS hardware and software design, development, and testing methodologies
- Experience with solving complex problems using ingenuity and creativity in the field of electronic systems testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of hardware and software requirements analysis, design, and implementation
- Experience coaching and leading engineering projects
- Familiarity with software development tools and processes, such as version control, agile development, and continuous integration
- Familiarity with DOORS, MATLAB, and other engineering tools is a plus
- Experience with F-16 Flight Controls is a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
