What You’ll Do:

Coordinate Exciting Projects and Events: Assist in organizing and managing Staff Care events like Staff Care Week 2025 and our “Mental Health at Work” campaign. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and ensuring these events run smoothly, helping us engage and support our team effectively.

Enhance Communications and Engagement: Support the rollout of communication strategies to boost staff engagement with our Staff Care initiatives. You’ll help manage how we share information and encourage participation, making sure our messages reach and resonate with our team.

Capture and Share Best Practices: Gather inspiring stories and best practices from our offices and write articles for our Partnership newsletters. You’ll also help redesign and rebrand webpages on our Intranet (WV Central), making our resources more engaging and accessible.

Analyze Data and Measure Impact: Collect and analyze data from various sources like surveys, interviews, and campaigns. You’ll help prepare reports that show how our initiatives are impacting the organization and identify areas for improvement.

Standardize and Organize Training Materials: Assist in auditing and standardizing our training materials to create a cohesive catalog. You’ll help package Staff Care training modules and presentations, making it easier for everyone to access and use our resources effectively.

What You Need to Know:

Location: Remote within the US. You must be physically located in one of the following states where WVI is registered as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Communications, Data Analysis, Sociology, Global Health, Mental Health, Psychology or Social Sciences, or related field.Internship Cohort Dates: 27 May – 22 August. Stipend: this internship is unpaid, but all US-based interns receive a monthly stipend of $800.Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24 -40 hours/week)

Eligibility

All candidates must meet the following requirements:

At least 18 years of age.Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident or F1-student visa) and have a valid US Social Security Number.Able to commit to at least 24 hours per week for the entire internship period: 27 May – 22 August. Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years).Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
