Staff Compliance Engineer

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Perform Safety, EMC, and Environmental testing according to approved test standards and methods  Assist design teams in debugging products that encounter issues during testing Generate test reports and other documentation to support compliance technical files for Test & Measurement group’s products Support accreditation efforts by engaging in technical audits, adhering to ISO 17025 and Test & Measurement group’s QMS May actively represent Test & Measurement group by participating on standards/industry committees and/or associations. Communicate project status and test results to project engineers Maintain test equipment and stations – perform validations and support calibrations and repairs Provide on-going support to clients as needed Requires limited soldering PCB components and wires, building cable assemblies and moving heavy test equipment and test fixtures for test set up and tear down. Support teammates to provide for continued improvement in processes Perform at a level of excellence that represents yourself, your team, and the company with pride  Who You Are: You are a highly self-motivated individual who consistently takes initiative and approaches tasks with a proactive mindset. You work exceptionally well with others, fostering a collaborative environment and maintaining strong communication and teamwork across different projects. You have excellent management skills, demonstrating the ability to organize and prioritize toward achieving shared goals effectively.   For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related science degree 2 or more years of experience in EMC testing Attention to detail with high aptitude for quality control, documentation, and repeatability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form Solid working understanding of basic electronics/electrical, ability to read and understand electronic schematics. Excellent organization and time management skills Must be "team oriented" with the ability to communicate and to precisely execute both written and verbal instructions. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Must be flexible and have the ability to prioritize a diverse workload Microsoft Office proficiency Requires limited to work overtime when urgent requests. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Knowledge of ISO 17025 (previous accreditation implementation a plus) Subject matter expertise in IEC 61326-1, CISPR 11, and UL 61010-1 Knowledge of operating various automated test software is a plus.
