Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System is seeking a Configuration, Change and Data Management (CDM) Lead in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will oversee the CDM team and perform a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines for the Triton Program. The focus is to provide CDM leadership to enable the program to meet the requirements of our customers.
Tasking includes staffing and budget planning, employee development and training coordination, establishing/ implementing policy, program support, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) response coordination/development and implementation, process improvement, goal development and engagement planning, and ensuring the competitiveness of the organization. The role must provide guidance and influence Program Leadership in the execution of all phases of CDM principles (Planning, Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, Verification/Audits, Data Mgmt., etc.). Responsibilities include reviewing, updating, and maintaining process documentation, auditing and evaluating compliance with these processes, sharing best practices among program practitioners, and implementing Corrective Actions resulting from audit findings to ensure continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
Oversee CDM team members to provide day-to-day assignments. Provide daily tasking and direction to team members and ensure that required resources (training, tools) are in placeOwn the technical areas of expertise of this group including data management and configuration management for both software and hardware products.Coordinate and administer configuration management activities related to planning, identification, change management, status accounting, and verification and auditAdminister change processes and ensure changes are documented in accordance with program requirements. Analyze proposed changes to product design documentation to determine effect on overall product and system. Establish and manage change control board activities.Support the generation, release, and delivery of Contract/Supplier Data Requirements Listings (CDRLs/SDRLs) to ensure that the delivered items meet contractual requirements.Provide timely feedback to team, and help to eliminate roadblocks when necessaryDemonstrate expert technical knowledge over CDM practice and SOW areasSupport the development and maintenance of Configuration Management and Data Management tools.Interface with program management, team members, and the customer while keeping track of documents and action itemsMentoring & career development, including training; ensuring and monitoring quality of work products; including consistent implementation of configuration management and data management functions.Support internal program CDM audits against program SOW & company processes and procedures.Briefing to and coordinating with numerous company and customer stakeholdersAssist with staffing and performance managementManaging cost and scheduleProposal activities, to include providing Basis of Estimate (BOE) for CDMMaintain CDM Home Page, CDM Organization Folder, CDM Tableau Metric PageThis is a hybrid role requiring two days minimum onsite, with full time onsite preferred
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years with a Master's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and an additional 16 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a 4 year degree.Active DoD Secret clearanceDemonstrated knowledge of CDM principles, concepts, practices, and standardsExperience working in a configuration management product life cycle systemMust have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
