Staff Development Instructor

Currently we have an exciting opportunity with our Work Ready program as a Staff Development Instructor.  Work Ready provides a comprehensive set of employment-oriented services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, including those who are in need of specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency.   This role, located in our center city office, offers flexibility and a hybrid environment, including 3 days each week on-site and 2 days remote.  This position is full time, 35 hours per week.   Key Responsibilities:  Promote clients’ active participation in all classroom activities; provide client constructive feedback for each session. Act as a liaison between instructional team and Work Ready staff in matters relating to Customer service and team building. Provide input into the design of assessment and evaluation tools in the measurement of internal outcomes (i.e., staff morale, job satisfaction & staff retention. Assist with the design, deliver, and manage interactive experiential learning activities in a classroom environment. Teach and facilitate the learning of skills in resume development, online and paper job application, interviewing and job keeping. Prepare creative lesson plans and learning materials for life skills and job search through use of various mixed media approaches. Provide known job leads to participant and assist in application.
