Staff Development Manager Dining Services

Riderwood Community is searching for a Staff Development Manager who can lead effective strategies for training, development and retention of staff for our Dining Services Department. This position holds an essential role that works with current and future staff to mentor and monitor professional skills and development.

**How you will make an impact:**
+ Coordinate and facilitate new hire employee orientations for the dining department.
+ Develop, coordinate, and present training programs for dining service and sanitation skills.
+ Collaborate with the community recruiter to support outreach efforts and source qualified applicants.
+ Oversee and ensure an efficient hiring and onboarding process for all dining staff, in partnership with the HR department.
+ Work with dining leadership to establish routine dining room service assessments and use observations to build targeted training programs
**What you will need:**
+ Proven experience managing and motivation in a customer service environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
+ Related experience in food service, an educational food service management program, or experience in recruitment, staff development and training with an ability to learn food service.
+ Must have weekend/holiday availability.
