Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add a Staff Electronics Engineer - Operational Configuration Control (OCC) Technical Liaison position to join our Avionics Integration organization. This position can be filled in either Rancho Bernardo, CA, Palmdale, CA, El Segundo, CA, or Oklahoma City, OK depending upon the selected candidate’s preference.
The selected candidate will be working on complex data center and communication systems and will be leveraging their technical expertise in various technical review boards as it pertains to these systems. The selected candidate will be working directly with leadership to lead a variety of disciplines and interfacing with both NG & customer stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Technical review gate prior to Configuration Change Board (CCB)Ensure thorough technical CCB package generation and provide technical oversight (expertise to RE’s)Deliver presentations and technical packages to customers, management, and program stakeholdersAction Item managementApproved modification implementation managementMeasuring and reporting of modification performanceChange agent for change Implementation process & cultureWork with responsible engineers & customer community, both technical & leadershipProduce, review, and coordinate technical change documentationChampion and defend priorities for resolution of deficiencies through Technical and Software Review BoardsReview and develop technical publication materialThe selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related engineering experience.Should have experience in troubleshooting of small to large scale infrastructureExperience in managing projects from concept through implementationSolid understanding of engineering process with execution experience across the program lifecycleActive in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearanceAbility to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.Preferred Qualifications:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
