Marvell Central Engineering (CE) develops Marvell most advanced High-Speed SerDes (HSS) IPs covering multiple applications, Switch, Automotive, Storage, Optics, etc. Acting as the engine to the company, Central Engineering provides the source of power to every business unit in Marvell system. Central System Engineering (CSE) in Central Engineering, independent of other CE functions including DSP algorithm development, circuit design, physical design, packaging, etc., is a function team responsible of validating all Marvell HSS IPs in the lab environment and supporting all Marvell business units for fast and smooth SoC production.

Central Engineering AMS-IP team provides leading-edge SerDes PHY solutions and other Analog Mixed-Signal IPs to support all Marvell products.

What You Can Expect

The candidate will be working on analog design for high-speed and high performance SerDes development in advanced technology nodes, 5nm, 3nm, 2nm and beyond.Participate in SerDes Architecture Development with DSP, Analog and Digital design teams.Provides instructions to the layout engineers.Works with validation team for IP characterization and validation plan.Supports SOC and customer for IP usage and debugging.

What We're Looking For

Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering.Strong knowledge on the deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.Experience in designing mixed signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, Filters, Bandgap bias circuits, regulators, and other analog circuits.Knowledge and Experience on low power and high-speed design techniques.Excellent problem solving, and analytical skills are essential.Strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, Verilog, etc.Lab testing skills to evaluate the prototype unit to the design specification.
