Collaborate with customers and industry leaders to uncover installation insights and prioritize opportunities for advancing quality and reliability. **Specific Responsibilities** + Develop and document product specifications that align with customer, regulatory, and technical requirements, ensuring clear guidance for your team and stakeholders. + Lead the pursuit of functional excellence by mentoring your team in the application of engineering tools, rigorous analysis, and thorough testing, while executing hands-on contributions. + Direct the creation of detailed projects and technical plans for product development and improvement, guiding and collaborating with engineers, support teams, and external groups involved in product design, documentation, development, drafting, prototype construction, and testing of concepts. + Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing by documenting and disseminating insights gained from your experience, encouraging growth and innovation. + Drive progress by not only contributing directly to product and process enhancements but also empowering your team to excel in these efforts. + Oversee the effective utilization of CAD tools within your team while actively contributing to design and concept development. + Represent the team through occasional travel to engage with suppliers, customers, and industry events, as well as visits to Kohler locations, ensuring alignment and continuous learning opportunities. **Skills/Requirements** + BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited) + 8+ years of product development experience + Strong track record in team leadership and development + Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD + Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. + Self-directed with a problem-solving mindset and creative approach + Experience presenting to business leaders or executive management + Ability to independently test, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems. + Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail. + Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed \#LI-Hybrid \#LI-SC2 **_Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future._** _The salary range for this position is $98,900 - $125,600. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
