Role and Responsibilities

Perform semiconductor engineering research, design, development, and/or testing for firm products and/or devices for use in the electronic communication industry. Review architecture specifications, identify design features for verification and functional coverage. Develop verification/test plans and functional coverage plans. Work with RTL to create verification reference models and stimulus generators. Develop and maintain System Verilog/UVM test benches. Drive to coverage and verification closure. Manage tasks and deliverables to meet milestones. Develop scripts to automate test bench component development and coverage/stimulus analysis. Take ownership and lead the team towards key milestone closure by meeting phase gate pass rates, coverage quality, and other quality metrics.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field plus two (2) years of experience in a related occupation performing each of the following: UVM/OVM/VMM; test bench development; test/verification plan creation; Synopsis VCS or equivalent verification tool; and code coverage analysis/closure.

Skills and Qualifications

In-Person Collaboration

Our hybrid work policy requires three (3) days of in-office collaboration and two (2) days of flexible remote work (within the U.S.) per week. You must be able to meet this requirement. Adherence to the work hybrid schedule allows all team members to collaborate and innovate more effectively.

Total Rewards

At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $201,676 - $251,800 . Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. This is an exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.

Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
