Roles and Responsibilities
Lead programs in determining product certification strategy and certification basisLead compliance planning and determination of means of complianceSupport / contribution to creation of cohesive project plansReview of development artefacts, where applicablePerform certification audit pre-assessments both of internal projects and external suppliersAudit project / product artifacts and verification activities to assess compliance with the certification basisSupport to Customer AR / Regulatory Authority auditsSupport and collaboration with Integrated Project Teams to resolve audit Findings/Actions/ObservationsSupport to / participation in industry working groupsStaff development, both within Certification and the wider engineering community, through technical guidance, coaching and mentoring of less experienced engineersDevelop and implement training modules as necessaryQualifications
Direct design experience/knowledge with ASIC, FPGA, CPLD technologiesExperience working with regulatory compliance related to Advisory Circular 20-152 and RTCA/DO-254Experience of demonstrating compliance to certification regulationsDesired Characteristics
