The Evendale ACE Electrical Systems team is responsible for the design, support, and problem solving for electric and electrical systems for advanced combat engines. This position requires the unique combination of expertise, influencing skill, and project management. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Take full ownership of a range of hardware as you develop expertise and sharpen critical engineering skills required to succeed in the industry. + Manage individual projects as a part of a cross-functional team including creating and updating proposal documents, leading design reviews, and reviewing technical data. + Usher critical technology through the full design process from concept to production. + Verify and document electrical components from suppliers meet customer requirements for performance and integration. + Integrate complex sensing systems architecture into turbomachinery + Mentor and train less experienced engineers. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor or Master degree in engineering from an accredited university or college + Minimum of 7 years experience in electrical system and component design + Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance **Desired Characteristics** + Strong oral and written communication skills + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs + Established project management skills **At GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.
