Staff Engineer I

Braun Intertec is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Denver, CO office. The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring.

Responsibilities:

Perform various field and laboratory testsWork independently on specific assignments of limited scope and with engineers and on larger projects as a team memberPrepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projectsManage basic geotechnical and material testing projectsMaintain client communications and build client relationsDevelops solutions, makes recommendations, and prepares engineering reports for reviewObserve construction in progress and reports to project engineerGain experience relevant to obtain Professional Engineer license

Required Skills:

Valid driver's license and clean driving recordPerform field related services at least 50% of timeGood written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basisTravel up to 25% of time

Required Experience:

Prior professional consulting experience desiredProficiency in field-testing & report writing experienceBachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months

Braun Intertec offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, PTO, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and paid holidays. The potential pay range for this role is $25.00 - $35.00
