•    Lead NPI for new product development (NPD) efforts
•    Make critical product and process decisions independently
•    Transfer new products from design to production
•    Conduct DFM and DFT reviews with the engineering team
•    Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality etc, on issue resolution
•    Provide the necessary engineering work-arounds to address urgent production issues
•    Develop long term resolutions of critical issues faced by manufacturing operations and sheet metal suppliers
•    Finding the root cause for the issues raised by the manufacturing and implementing the CAPA for the same
•    Conduct design and drawing reviews
•    Implementation of ECNs and Deviations in production and with contract manufacturers
•    Work with vendors to qualify sheet metal parts, such that the parts are fabricated according to the engineering expectations and also meet the needs for large volume production
•    Create effective documentation, like well written engineering changes, assembly drawings, product drawings, fabrication files etc
