ASIC design engineer responsible for planning and coordinating the design, verification, and evaluation of digital circuits in high-speed data communication ICs. The candidate will work closely with digital design, design verification, firmware, and analog design engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time and in high quality.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with Analog/DSP/DV/FW/AE teams to coordinate the delivery of competitive SerDes IP solutions for all the Marvell product linesUnderstand and improve the unique in-house design methodology and flowProvide support to the product teams for both pre and post siliconLead the development and execution of RTL designs for various type of SerDes IPs ranging from 10Gbps to 224Gbps data-rates for different applicationsWork with cross-functional teams to define requirements, create schedules and budgets, manage risks, and communicate with stakeholdersDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate risks to project successTrack and report on analog mixed-signal IP development progressContinuously improve project execution processesWhat We're Looking For
Candidate must have:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experienceMaster degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 1-3 years of experienceGood personal communication skills and collaborative spiritStrong work ethic and motivation to be part of a highly competent design teamMust be proficient in the following skills:
Fundamental concepts in digital design, design verification, and timing closure (STA) in support of high-speed analog mixed-signal SerDes designConcepts in physical and layout designExcellent cross-discipline communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsVerilog codingHighly desirable skills:
Experience with design flow and methodologyExperience with silicon validation supportExperience with power analysis and optimizationStrong Perl and Tcl scripting skillExpected Base Pay Range (USD)
106,700 - 157,840, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
