SMX is seeking an Executive Officer (EO) to join our team at USINDOPACOM J5 at Camp H.M. Smith in Hawaii. The EO will plan and execute key operations for the Strategic Plans Directorate at USINDOPACOM.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Develop key talking points for the J5 and Command in preparations for Regional Partner Engagements
+ Create congressional testimony documents for the USINDOPACOM J5 directorate
+ Work independently to create Regional Engagements Plans for Regional Joint Group events
+ Work directly with other Combatant Commands to plan Regional Partners engagements travel documents and security clearance requirements
+ Collaborate with Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) on publishing the Regional Engagement Plan documents for the Command visitors
+ Work independently to create J5 STIREPs
+ Facilitate TMS packages to bridge the Task Management System across the command
+ Create, edit and present technical documentation
+ Brief senior government and industry leaders on topics related to plans, operations and/or intelligence
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ Required clearance: TS/SCI
+ Bachelor’s degree / Masters preferred
+ 5+ years of management/supervision experience in DoD
+ 5+ years leading operations in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience briefing senior government and industry leaders on topics related to plans, operations and/or intelligence
+ 3-5 experience running large projects and/or support for initiatives with military objectives
+ Experience with writing technical and operational documents
+ 3 -5 years of experience collaborating stakeholders across the USINDOPACOM and other Combatant Commands
+ Ability to execute plans, lead operations to drive measurable results
+ Possess excellent data management, problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to work independently in a high-paced environment
+ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

The proposed salary for this position is:
$119,200—$198,700 USD
