General Summary:
Located in San Diego, the Staff Financial Analyst, M&A Finance Integration Management Office (FIMO) is responsible for supporting pre-and post-close integration efforts for various Finance/Accounting workstreams across M&A transactions. This role has responsibility for support of transaction needs throughout the entire M&A process from due diligence through completion of post-close milestones.
**Position requires to be onsite in San Diego full time
This role will be responsible for activities such as:
Project management support of pre- and post-close integration efforts for specified transactions and/or Finance and Accounting workstreamsParticipating in and supporting the due diligence processAssisting with analysis and preparation Net Working Capital and Net Cash proposals for definitive agreementsPreparation of closing payment schedulesPreparing/maintaining Corporate Development deliverables including due diligence readouts, Plan of Record and business casesMaintaining transaction milestone trackersPreparing and helping facilitate integration kick-off materials for Finance & AccountingMinimum Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or related position.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting7+ years of accounting or finance experience in a global environmentExcellent communications skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to clearly articulate complex processes to audiences with differing levels of understandingAbility to collaborate in cross functional teams and actively manage teams to complete projects and tasksWillingness to get things done, be resourceful and take ownershipAbility to recognize and apply a sense of urgency, when necessaryComfort with ambiguityAbility to operate in a diverse, matrixed, global environment across multiple time zonesExperience with US based multinational companiesDemonstrated skill with process improvementsInternational and multi-unit business experience is highly desiredExperience supporting M&AQualcomm is an equal opportunity employer. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$106,400.00 - $159,600.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
