Stay for our embodiment of diversity, equity, and inclusion. **Job Responsibilities:** + Fieldwork involving classification of soils and rock from borings. + Field locating of test boring locations. + Preparation of boring logs. + Develop lab testing program for assigned projects. + Prepare and present verbal and written reports with oversight from senior staff. + Learn to interpret geotechnical data and perform engineering calculations. **Atlas EEOC Statement** Atlas is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. For more information, read through our EEO Policy https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/migrated\_files/employers/poster\_screen\_reader\_optimized.pdf **Minimum Requirements:** + A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. + 0 to 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. + The successful candidate should have EIT certification or ability to obtain. + Willingness to learn and grow in your career. **Technical Requirements:** + Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working. + General knowledge of soils, geology, groundwater, and soil mechanics. + Math and science skills with the ability to understand and perform engineering calculations. + Desire and capability to learn geotechnical engineering software. **Other miscellaneous qualities:** + Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. + Must be able to pass a background check for clearance to work on various private and government facilities.
