Verdantas is a national consulting group seeking a talented Civil Bridge Engineer to join our team in the Toledo, OH Office or any of our Midwestern Regional offices.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Entry Level Bridge Engineer to be involved in projects with our Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that delivers important bridge infrastructure for our Ohio and National clients.
Responsibilities: Perform bridge related computations and analysis Support the preparation of design plans, cost estimates and special provisions Collect data, gather information, produce documents and reports Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members Develop memorandums and other written technical documents Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work Work collaboratively with other engineers, professionals, and infrastructure authorities on Federal, State, regional, local, and privately funded improvement and development projects Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline. 0-2 years of relevant post education experience Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
