Lockheed Martin’s Spectrum Convergence is part of Lockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems business area. As the company's center of excellence for end-to-end radio frequency mission solutions, this market segment focuses on developing technologies that help the warfighter stay ahead of threats in the electromagnetic spectrum. You’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep the threats at bay.

The successful candidate will be a lead in performing system integration, verification/validation, supportability and effectiveness of the deployed mission system. They will be someone who can be a team leader, self starter, have solid problem solving skills that require minimal oversight, and provide solutions to integration and testing needs.

Day to day activities include integration and test activities including, but not limited to:
• Integration and test activities on mission production system
• Running test automation scenarios
• Troubleshooting integration issues
• Developing test plans / procedures
• Collaboration with factory support team

Communication will be key to effectively work with the team, work through dependencies with other product teams, and have the ability to work through roadblocks and resolve issues quickly.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Antenna, Radio Frequency (RF), Signal Processing, and/or Software Systems
• Systems Engineering lifecycle knowledge from requirements decomposition all the way through verification and transition to operations.
• Experience with Software and/or hardware test and integration
• Experience generating Test Plans and Procedures
• Experience working on agile-based teams, processes and tools (ex. Jira or Version One)
Desired Skills:
Proficiencies and/or familiarity in each of the following:

1. Software Application Testing and Deployment -
The role includes working with application level software deployed to a containerized cloud infrastructure. Familiarity evaluating software products for functional and acceptance testing to ensure they meets user requirements and performs as expected. Specific skills include:
• Executing manual and automated testing scripts
• Discrepancy identification and documentation
• Application deployment, redeployment, configuration management, and process development
• Experience in updating and modifying config files and Python test code


2. RF Test and Measurement
The role includes execution and automation of RF tests of a complex software-radio/RF/antenna system. Familiarity with RF test and measurement equipment and techniques that include usage of signal generators, software radios, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers. Specific skills include:
• Pulsed signal analysis using oscilloscopes
• Signal Analysis using Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer
• P1dB, SNR, Spurious, RF network analysis…
• Hardware experience with high performance RF interconnects
• Safety protocols for working with large high power antennas
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
