This position will report to Site IT Operation Senior Manager. This will act as a technical pillar & providing technical guidance to the IT Operation team in areas of IT Infrastructure (server, network), IT Operations, Service Desk operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT Service Desk teamAct as a bridge between Business and various IT services such as MES, Automation, Infrastructure, Security and providing both support and troubleshooting servicesIdentify opportunities and apply best practice to improve IT Operation function, including automation of IT work processProvides process improvement opportunities to maintain optimum factory IT system uptime by collaborating across Business and IT teamsResponsible for Bartender Barcode Labelling software & serverManage and administer office printers and print serverResponsible for Audio-Visual for the Auditorium, Boardrooms, Meeting Rooms & Training roomsOversee & manage IT project for site IT OperationsMaintain the Virtual Cleanroom viewing systemResponsible for Network cabling request and projectsDevelop and define standard operating procedures for IT Operation teamLead troubleshooting, recovery and root cause analysis efforts when needs arisesIdentify IT risk elements and formulate contingency action planIT Incident & Problem ManagementProvide and deliver IT services following ITIL best practicesQualificationsREQUIRED:
Hands-on technical experience in IT operations supporting IT hardware and software applicationStrong technical background in Microsoft Operating Systems Administration and Macintosh SystemMust possess strong documentation skills and can work in rapid change and fast pace environmentExperience in relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team and Global IT TeamExcellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to manage complex process and technology issuesVery good understanding of various IT Infrastructure such as Server, Storage, Network, and BackupExperience with monitoring tools such as CheckMK, and Splunk is a plusExperience in several programing languages, scripting and PowerShell is a plusKnowledge with advanced capabilities within ITSM software such as ServiceNow, including experience with ITIL fundamentalsExperience in Inventory managementAbility to maintain composure and focus while troubleshooting and solving technical issuesHas an aptitude for acquiring technical skills and an eagerness to learnHas excellent time management skills and can make sound judgment/decision quicklyPREFERRED:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent7 years of hands-on technical experience in IT operations and Service DeskExperience working in MNC environment preferably in the manufacturing sectorAdditional Information
