As a valued member of the Minnesota Metals (Medical Subcomponents) - Manufacturing Engineering team at TE, you'll play a crucial role in driving innovation and efficiency within our operations. Your expertise in problem-solving and your ability to provide engineering support will be essential as you integrate new products into our production lines and lead key process design initiatives. By optimizing product flow through our manufacturing operations using advanced engineering methods and continuous improvement techniques, you will actively contribute to enhancing our production capabilities. You will oversee significant improvements in product and process quality through the application of LEAN methodologies and 6S practices. Moreover, your responsibilities will include the development, approval, procurement, maintenance, and repair of critical production hardware, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and effectively. Actively seek and propose valuable improvements for site processes and procedures that drive efficiency and innovation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help plan and gather data aimed at effective problem-solving and process enhancement. - Deliver comprehensive status reports on engineering projects to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. - Lead the development, implementation, and thorough documentation of processes, tools, and equipment for optimal performance. Design and conduct standard engineering tests and experiments with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring reliable outcomes. Take charge of writing and documenting clear process instructions that facilitate understanding and compliance. Create and refine manufacturing processes along with detailed process documentation to enhance productivity and quality. Assist the scope, deliverables, timeline, and project team for capital expenditure (CapEx) related to engineering projects, driving success and value. Engage in the development and execution of innovative new processes and systems that propel the organization forward. Identify and manage system integrations to streamline operations efficiently. - work seamlessly with various functional groups as required to ensure unified progress and objectives.
What your background should look like: BS in chemical engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials science, plastics/polymer engineering, or a related degree Eight or more years’ experience in assisting a manufacturing environment with progressive levels of responsibility Demonstrated ability to interpret data, create an action plan, and execute a plan that delivers business results Demonstrated problem solving skills Ability to sustain high performance standards and attention to detail in unstructured and unsupervised situations Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $119,800 - $179,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
