What You’ll get to Do:
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer proficient in a wide range of networking technologies and concepts to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in TCP/IP fundamentals, routing and switching, network design, firewall management, network security, wireless networking, virtualization, and cloud networking.

Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructureConfigure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewallsManage network security and implement best practices to ensure data protectionOptimize network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issuesImplement and manage wireless networksDeploy and manage virtualized network environmentsCollaborate with other IT teams to provide network solutions that meet business requirementsQualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 12 years of experience; or 10 years of relevant experience with a Masters (MS) degree; or 8 years with a PhDAn additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science DegreeStrong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentalsProficiency in routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs)Experience in network design and architectureHands-on experience in firewall management and network securityKnowledge of wireless networking protocols and standardsFamiliarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.)Clearance: A current/active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access (SAP) is required.Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalentThis position is contingent upon active Secret clearance, ability to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access (SAP), and program award.
Salary Range: $155,500.00 - $233,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
