United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation Unit to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. The Rehabilitation unit is passionate about building relationships with patients to learn about and aid in reaching their goals. The rehabilitation unit focuses on continuous treatment of medical issues while prepping patients to return home.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Building relationships with patients to learn and aid in goalsWorking with therapy unit to build plan of actionMonitoring progress and adjusting treatment as neededAdministering medications from Physician

Qualifications:

A valid RN license CPR certification1 year med surg experience or med surg rehab experienceStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science degree in NursingPrevious clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

Current NYS RN License

Preferred:

Professional certification in a related nursing specialtyRelevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
