*_SUMMARY_* We are currently seeking a*Staff Nurse*to join our Orthopedics Clinic in downtown Minneapolis. This is a part-time role (0.8 FTE) and will work day shift during the week. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates (current employees and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible). *RESPONSIBILITIES* Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by: * Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health * Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care * Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response * Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others * Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care * Educating patient on their disease process * Assuring continuity of care * Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being *QUALIFICATIONS* */Minimum Qualifications:/* * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing * Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota * 1 year of Nursing experience */Preferred Qualifications:/* * Certification in area of clinical specialty * BSN Preferred.
