Your employment with USC Arcadia Hospital will be on an at-will basis, which means that either you or the Hospital may terminate the employment relationship, with or without notice and with or without cause at any time. In addition, if your position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), your employment and various employment terms may also be subject to the terms and conditions of the CBA. All hospital offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory completion of pre-employment requirements. The actual start date will be determined and dependent on completion of the hospital's pre-employment process including a satisfactory background screening, positive reference checks, and successful pre-placement physical, which includes a drug and alcohol screening. USC Arcadia Hospital will consider for employment any qualified applicant, including those with criminal records, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Under this contingent offer of employment, you may be allowed to start (early-start) your employment with the Hospital before the Hospital fully completes all aspects of the pre-employment requirements. In the event you are allowed an early start, the contingent offer may be withdrawn at the Hospital's sole discretion and your employment with the Hospital terminated, if any aspect of the pre-employment requirements is not completed to the Hospital's satisfaction or if the Hospital discovers any omission or falsification of the information you provided the Hospital in order to receive an offer of employment. A condition of this employment is a successful completion of the 180 days orientation period. During this time, the employee’s performance will be properly evaluated to determine suitability of continued employment.
