Join the Non-Volatile Engineering (NVEG) Product Engineer team at Micron and be part of our powerful team. We are looking for someone who can craft low-cost in-house engineering test platforms and solve complex problems. Collaboration is encouraged, and we expect you to bring your ground-breaking ideas to the table. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enable the PE test infrastructure and test platforms to evaluate, debug, and characterize NAND and System Micron products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware/software compatibility.
Key Responsibilities:Design, bring up, test, validate, and release to manufacturing complex electronic systems and modules based on product marketing requirements and new memory technologies.Design electronics systems and modules using standard methodologies for signal and power integrity, as well as mechanical and thermal design and implementation.Create and implement test and validation plans, including detailed design reviews of all major sub-assemblies, to secure only one prototype for the final system/module revision.Support product certification activities, NPI, production, and manufacturing, including product transfer from Engineering to manufacturing and materials procurement.Work with external customers, distributors, vendors, or suppliers to initiate new designs and solve problems.Coordinate the placement, layout, and fabrication of the systems and modules.Qualifications:Successful candidates for this exciting opportunity will have:
A Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electronics Engineering with 10+ years of hardware board design experience.Experienced in working end-to-end of a product cycle in hardware design, including hardware architecture, circuit design, debugging, manufacturing, and assembly.Solid knowledge and extensive experience developing systems based on different high-speed interfaces like PCIE, DDR, ONFI, UFS, etc., and experience with various communication protocols like I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, USB, JTAG, etc.Proven forward-thinking person with the ability to inspire change and to influence and build consensus with highly technical teams and senior leadership.Good understanding of high-speed board design, SI, and PI concepts, well experienced in system bring-up, characterization, and debugging, as well as knowledge of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic and protocol analyzers.Proficiency in CAD tools such as Cadence HDL, Allegro PCB.Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.Education:Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.Coursework in VLSI, semiconductor process, and programming languages is desirable, but not required.About Micron Technology, Inc.
