Staff Process Engineer
Stryker is looking to hire a **Staff Process Engineer, Advanced Operations** in **Portage, Michigan** to support new **Stryker Robotics Products.** As a Staff Process Engineer, Advanced Operations you will have the opportunity to work on the design transfer of new products from R&D into production. Work with quality engineers to develop component specific testing and inspection protocols. + Lead/support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, installation and validation. + Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis. Lead and/or participate in process review meetings. + Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Control Plan, SOP and Production Part Approval Process generation associated with product transfers and launches. + Complete capability studies for in process inspection and generate subsequent Inspection documentation. + Conduct MSA studies for new products and new processes. + Provide training for manufacturing team members. + Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures. + Review and approval of validation documentation. **WHAT YOU NEED:** Minimum Requirements: + ​​Bachelor’s degree in engineering . + 4+ years of manufacturing engineering or process engineering experience. Preferred Skills: + Experience with automation, LabVIEW, PLC programming, and complex equipment development and procurement. + Experience with CMMs. + Experience with project management and supplier development. + Experience in R&D, new product development or process design. + Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process design. + Experience with Zeiss Calypso. + Able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and can understand geometrical dimension and tolerances. + Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing related statistical tools and validation/verification techniques.
