About the role The Staff Procurement Analyst provides professional supply chain management services to an assigned category and/or geography. The Staff Procurement Analyst is capable of working with limited supervision, is able to plan for and manage their daily activities, manage moderately complex projects/issues. The Staff Procurement Analyst is expected to apply existing technology, procedures, principles, and analytical rules to routine assignments. The Staff Procurement Analyst works closely with internal business partners to define business needs, conduct necessary analysis, devise appropriate approaches and solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of high quality services or goods. Also the Staff Procurement Analyst supports ad-hoc projects/initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of and actively cultivates strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders. What you need Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain Management, Administration, Business, Accounting, Economics or related). Advanced English Skills, oral and written (will be evaluated during interview). 1+ years background in Procurement; experience negotiating with vendors; Oracle or other procurement software experience 6 months-1 year professional work experience. Proficient level negotiation skills to drive savings, avoidance, and recovery for BMC – achieving substantial cost savings through negotiations, and category consolidation Advanced at scheduling and executing daily tasks needed to provide high-quality services and meet timelines. Develop working relationships that motivate suppliers to deliver required level of service and to facilitate swift and effective resolution of issues, through advanced supplier performance management techniques. Strong analytic skills, ability to understand strategies and business-related concepts. Advanced organizational and time management skill Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are key. Oriented to exceed the internal customer expectations. Proactive and with good attitude to problem solve. Flexible to meet business needs and changing priorities and adapt as needed. Basic knowledge of processes and methodologies to source products & services. What you will be doing Sourcing - finding, evaluating, and engaging suppliers of goods and services which includes defining business needs (identify what goods or services are required), market analysis (researching potential suppliers and market conditions), and develop sourcing strategy (deciding on the approach for sourcing - whether it's single-sourcing, multiple-sourcing, etc.) Vendor Management - managing the interaction with vendors and maintaining good working relationships with the vendors and internal stakeholders to mitigate risks. Tasks include reducing vendor risks, ensuring service delivery, and help build stronger relationships with vendors which can lead to opportunities to negotiate better rates. Procurement Operations – this involves every activity involved in obtaining the goods and services needed to support daily operations, including sourcing, negotiating terms, purchasing items, and documenting all the steps in the process. Additional roles include: travel, company vehicles, telecom, invoicing, credit card administration, procurement business systems, and corporate events.
