ResponsibilitiesProduct design from conceptualization to mass productionCircuit design of power electronic components for industrial applications with focus on PCB Gate Driver Solutions, dc-dc converter, analog circuits, etc.Knowledge in components selection and second source proposals, generate simulation and calculationsProduct design optimization, evaluation and document PCB Gate Driver built with the company’s productsFacilitate technical design review with engineering teamsCharacterization of new circuits and componentsGenerate schematic and supervise PCB layout designKnowledge in safety, quality/reliability, and manufacturability of the productsProvide leadership, supervision, technical reviews, and trainings for junior engineersProvide design technical support and technical advice to customersWork with vendors, test engineering and industrialization teams to prepare designs for testing and manufacturingLow and high voltage characterization of PCB-based gate drivers, lab-based characterization of components and performing various evaluationsGeneration of internal technical documentation such as technical presentation, test plan, and test reportsCollaboration and support with related industrial groups like Marketing, ASIC Development, Application Engineering, Operations, Test Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in electronics engineering or in related fieldsExcellent understanding of Power Electronics and electrical engineering fundamentalsMinimum 8 years of experience of power electronics design in any of the following: gate drivers, switch mode power supply and power managementPower electronics design experience and knowledge of power electronic components (e.g. Diode, IGBT, MOSFET, SiC MOSFET, Gate Driver) and/or SMPSKnowledge of understanding and interpreting international standards (e.g. DIN EN and IEC)Knowledge and experience of power electronics components such as IGBT, Si or SiC MOSFET and Gate DriversAbility to design PCB layout or willing to be trained in PCB layout design with CAD system (e.g., Altium Designer) and simulation tools (e.g., Simetrix/Simplis, LTSpice)Good command of spoken and written EnglishSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervisionLearning capability and willingness to be trained and pursue further educationResilient under stress even in tough situationsStrong organizational skillsTeam playerDesired Qualifications
