Staff Program Control Analyst

Neya is a leader in advanced robotics developing off-road autonomy for both commercial and defense customers. Our deep domain expertise spans semi-autonomy, autonomy, perception, and mission planning; all of which support a wide range of DoD and commercial thrust areas. Our main center of gravity is in the Pittsburgh area.

Neya Systems is looking for a project analyst with demonstrated experience in program management and analysis. The selected candidate will work closely with Neya’s project managers and principal investigators performing budget analysis, cost projections, man-hour estimates, as well as project reporting for contract and FAR compliance. At a minimum, we are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent, and at least 2 years of related experience. Candidates must be self-motivated with the ability to work proactively and achieve results without close supervision. Additionally, candidates must be organized individuals with excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and the capacity to change priorities quickly and work effectively under deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Selected candidates must be U.S. Citizens and may be subject to a government security investigation.

 

What You’ll Do:

Project management/administrative support and coordination to a contract, project, and task(s). Assists with control systems, monitoring costs and schedules on contracts Controls resource management, requests, and allocations. Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepares budgets, financial forecasts and schedules for contract work and assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Prepares program and plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled Assist in providing interface and coordination for other related programs to organize and review work progress. Attend project/program meetings, record meeting minutes and action items Manage project subcontracts, monitor subcontractor spending and deliverables Track and verify completion of program quality reviews Assist in creating subcontracts, and purchase orders for projects, following established company guidelines.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Two to four years of related project support or management experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Project. Strong mathematical and accounting skills. Excellent communicator. Experience in MS SharePoint or similar file-sharing applications. Experience using budgeting and accounting software. US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance.

How to Stand Out:

Current active security clearance. At least four years of experience in a project analyst role. Experience supporting $10M+ government contracts. Experience with federal contracts. Training in Project Management

Anticipated salary range: $63,000 - $85,000. Offer may vary depending on experience and skill set.
