• University Degree: Engineering preferred.
• Project Management experience in product development or advanced development of industrial products
• Demonstrated experience of engineering assignments on mechanical & electrical components
• Strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple organization functions (internal and external).
• Strong communications skills in English (both speaking and writing) to facilitate global communication.
• Project Management certification desirable (CAPM, PMP, Prince 2 or similar), understanding of agile development methodology.
• Strong and thorough knowledge of technical tools specific to Project Management, as well as knowledge of general engineering tools. Experienced Microsoft Project user.
• Strong ability to set goals and motivate team members.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and lead regional cross-functional teams.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Follow established stage-gate processes and assure the integrity of project deliverables including presenting to the Project Approval Committee.
• Conduct frequent status meetings with the internal project team and internal/external customers.
• Escalation of issues and risks that cannot be solved at the project team level.
• Work within a global cross functional team to maintain schedule and financial goals throughout a project.
• Manage and interface with customers, sales, product management, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers.
• Provide regular reporting to ADM senior management on project status in terms of schedules, project costs, and business case of all assigned projects.
• Monitor project execution with specific emphasis on providing early warnings to detect, develop and implement corrective action plans where required.
• Provide leadership over the project in accordance with TE project management policies.
