Your RoleIn this technology leadership position, you’ll bring your extensive experience in cloud-scale engineering, platform security, and release operations to drive key initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:Lead Release Management Operations: Oversee engineering release management efforts, ensuring strong orchestration and alignment across cross-functional teams (including engineering, quality assurance, security, IT, Developer Productivity and leadership) to identify and implement best practices for program and release operations.Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans for program and release management, with a focus on operational excellence, scalability, and customer satisfaction. Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize release processes.Program & Release Leadership: Deliver complex technical software programs and ensure the timely, high-quality delivery of major, minor, and patch releases. Focus on customer-centricity and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage competing priorities and ensure that releases meet deadlines effectively.Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo by driving operational excellence and promoting continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to industry best practices in release management while maintaining high standards for scalability, resilience, and performance in all applications.Risk & Security Management: Commit to security, regulatory, and governance standards, proactively managing risks and capacity planning to minimize disruptions and ensure the integrity of the release process.Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication, alignment, and collaboration across teams.Travel & Global Coordination: Support global teams through occasional travel (up to 25%) to build strong relationships and ensure alignment with global release management efforts.

 

What You Will BringEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 10+ years of experience in managing large engineering teams, specifically in Release Management, with a proven track record in successfully delivering high-quality technical programs and solutions.Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with technical program management, release management, and the interlock between release and program functions. Familiarity with agile methodologies and best practices in software release operations at a large scale.Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams, aligning multiple stakeholders, and driving organizational change. Exceptional communication and training skills to effectively work with diverse teams.Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to make data-driven decisions and lead complex projects through challenges.Preferred Experience: Previous leadership roles focused on delivering high-quality releases in a technology-driven environment.

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 182,400 and USD $ 364,795 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
