Staff Risk Analyst - IT Infrastructure
Job Description SummaryAs an IT Risk Analyst – Core Infrastructure, you will join the Global Workload Services team within the Information Security & Infrastructure department.
In this role you will leverage your experience to help implement the IT resiliency program (DR and BCP) across GE HealthCare for IT Core Infrastructure Services. Joint collaboration with Compute, Network, Storage & Database leaders on IT core infrastructure components. There will be access to tried and tested tools, templates, and processes to ensure successful outcomes and speed of onboarding.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Collaborating with the Application owners towards linking core infra components

Partnership with the Stakeholders on the IT Applications & relationships towards core infra components

Perform risk assessment for all core infra components using lean techniques.

Understanding of core infrastructure components & functions (Compute, Storage, Network, Databases etc.)

Guide application owners in creating Business Impact Analysis & Disaster Recovery Plan

Perform disaster recovery (DR) assessments with application owners to ensure test plans are valid and facilitate the DR tests for core infra components.

Perform Business Impact Analyses to assess criticality and functional impact of applications and core infrastructure services.

Assign recovery objectives and then create and implement recovery plans according to the assessed criticality.

Carry out DR drills with application teams to ensure IT infrastructure and support personnel are capable of meeting recovery objectives.

Ensure third party cloud providers are capable of meeting critical application recovery objectives.

Advise leadership of risk outcomes across application recovery and business continuity for core infra components

Experience in application development within a validation environment

Work in partnership with business teams to facilitate the implementation of company-wide DR & BCP

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

Overall 11+ experience in IT Domain with minimum 8+ years of experience in IT Disaster recovery & 3+ year experience in IT Core Infrastructure services & components.

Desired Characteristics

Master's degree in Business, Sciences or Information Technology

Prior experience working in a matrix environment

Prior experience doing Lean or Six Sigma Process improvement work

Prior experience working on developing and leading strategy definition

Prior experience managing IT operations and support

Capable contemporary leader with extensive team working abilities

Certifications from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), or Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI an advantage)

Experience in compliance and/or quality teams (SOX, ISO, Lean, Six Sigma)
