We are hiring an elite team to push the boundaries of what human factor robots can accomplish in a warehouse environment. If your ideal day involves managing predictable tasks or incremental improvements, this role won’t be a fit. We’re looking for someone who thrives in complexity, who doesn’t just solve problems but redefines them.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Perform market research on all things Robotics & AIDefine functional requirements and technical specifications for Chewy’s human factor robot use casesDesign human factor robot concepts for Chewy warehouse processesDevelop and test Chewy specific subsystems such as end effectors tailored to Chewy processes/itemsWork with industry partners to develop and test full concepts at Chewy’s robotics labSupport the deployment of human factor robots in Chewy warehouses

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Bachelor's Degree (AI, Data Science, Engineering, MIS, CS, or related field)7+ years of Robotics Engineering experienceTrack record of solving problems others deemed impossibleComfort working in an ambiguous space where ideas are regularly challengedComfort being deeply wrong and learning from your failuresThe ability to work with minimal guidance on undefined problems
