You’ll ensure optimal staffing to support quality care delivery, maintain compliance with policies and regulations, and contribute to a positive work environment for both new and existing team members. **What You’ll Do:** + Manage master schedules for all LTC units, adjusting based on census, PTO, call-ins, and budget + Coordinate with leadership to maintain adequate staffing across all shifts + Oversee the LTC and PRN staff scheduling process, including time and attendance tracking + Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new staff + Supervise assigned staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback + Analyze staffing data to support decision-making and operational improvements + Address attendance issues in partnership with leadership for optimal outcomes + Maintain accurate staffing records, payroll reconciliation, and system data entry + Collaborate across departments for new hire orientation and department-specific training + Support regulatory compliance and promote quality, safety, and cultural awareness + Represent the department professionally in all communications and interactions **What You’ll Need:** + **Bachelor’s degree** or equivalent combination of education and experience + **3+ years of LTC nursing experience (CNA, CMT, LPN, RN)** + Demonstrated knowledge of clinical staff scheduling + Experience with timekeeping, payroll, and scheduling software + Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills **Bonus Points For:** + Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and timekeeping platforms + Prior leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare **Why You'll Love It Here:** You'll be a key part of ensuring smooth operations and great patient care—all while supporting a team that truly values collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement. **Ready to make a difference behind the scenes of exceptional care?** Apply today and help shape a supportive, efficient, and people-first environment in our Long-Term Care team! **Working at University Health is about making a difference.
