You’ll ensure optimal staffing to support quality care delivery, maintain compliance with policies and regulations, and contribute to a positive work environment for both new and existing team members.
What You’ll Do:
Manage master schedules for all LTC units, adjusting based on census, PTO, call-ins, and budget
Coordinate with leadership to maintain adequate staffing across all shifts
Oversee the LTC and PRN staff scheduling process, including time and attendance tracking
Participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new staff
Supervise assigned staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback
Analyze staffing data to support decision-making and operational improvements
Address attendance issues in partnership with leadership for optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate staffing records, payroll reconciliation, and system data entry
Collaborate across departments for new hire orientation and department-specific training
Support regulatory compliance and promote quality, safety, and cultural awareness
Represent the department professionally in all communications and interactions
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of LTC nursing experience (CNA, CMT, LPN, RN)
Demonstrated knowledge of clinical staff scheduling
Experience with timekeeping, payroll, and scheduling software
Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Bonus Points For:
Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and timekeeping platforms
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare
