Staff Scientist - Contract - Wilmington, DE

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Staff Scientist specializing in Protein Purification to join our client's team.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting early-stage discovery programs by purifying and qualifying antibody samples. Your work will involve routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and meticulous record-keeping in electronic notebooks.

Skills & Requirements:

Advanced degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related life sciences field.Proficiency in protein purification techniques.Experience with liquid handling automation is advantageous.Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.Adaptable and enthusiastic in a dynamic biotech environment.

The Staff Scientist's responsibilities will be:

Plan, perform, analyze, and document laboratory experiments.Prepare cell supernatants and purify antibody samples.Conduct buffer exchange, quality control, and normalization of purified samples.Troubleshoot and optimize purification workflows for enhanced efficiency.Maintain laboratory instruments and manage supplies.
