Staff Scientist, Sample Management - Contract - Wilmington DE

Proclinical is working with a biopharmaceutical to recruit for a Staff Scientist who will be responsible for Sample Management.

Skills & Requirements:

AS (or equivalent laboratory experience) in Biology/Chemistry/Life Sciences, compound management/sample logistics experience desirable.Working knowledge of technologies commonly used in a laboratory setting, liquid handling automation experience desirableComfortable with working in proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, gloves, lab coat)Excellent computer skills.The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, and work productively in teams as well as independently.

The Staff Scientist's responsibilities will be:

Organization of physical sample and lab consumables inventoryManual manipulation of vessels with caps, plates with cap mats and seals, latch racksOrganization and record keepingData entry and review utilizing ExcelMust be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.Effectively communicate project status to project team membersLaboratory and sample inventory management.Organize, sort, and inventory sample collections and assist in vessel reformatting process which will include manual pipette and liquid handling automation operation.Direct communication with internal customers and assist with lab deliverables.
