Northrop Grumman is seeing a Staff Security Investigator 5/Counterintelligence Investigator. This position will be supporting the Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) and will report directly to the NGMC Security Manager. Develops and administers counterintelligence security programs and procedure for classified or proprietary materials, documents, personnel, and equipment. Uses multiple problem-solving methodologies to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Works closely with the program Security team, functional partners, and other key stakeholders in applying best security practices. Conducts internal investigations in response to an incident or suspected incident. Prepares briefings to Security/Program leadership on development of new counterintelligence policies, plans, and objectives that are in line with higher organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth investigations related to counter-intelligence threats and security breaches.Identify and analyze potential risks, threat vectors, and vulnerabilities to the company's security infrastructure.Develop and implement counterintelligence security measures to prevent, detect, and respond to security incidents.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather evidence, analyze data, and identify root causes of security incidents.Provide expert guidance and recommendations on security best practices and counter-intelligence protocols.Stay abreast of the latest trends, threats, and technologies in the field of security and counterintelligence.Basic Qualifications:
Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Polygraph.12+ Years of Counterintelligence Security experience with Bachelors; or 10+ Years of Counterintelligence Security experience with Masters; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.Leadership/Managerial Experience.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong skills in team building.Strong skills in educating and mentoring team members.Demonstrated success in leading organization change and transformation.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Experience as a federal Counterintelligence Agent with FBI, AFOSI, etc.Master's Degree in Business or Security related fieldsComprehensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program, Intelligence Community Directives, and related training.Self-Starter with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlinesExperience and familiarity with U.S. Government intelligence systemsSalary Range: $141,400.00 - $212,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
